        Marigold is native to Mexico and is cultivated throughout China; Marigold is rich in lutein and is widely used in seasoning, tobacco, pastries, candies, and various feed processing. It has been widely used as a colorant; Marigold is an effective insecticide. 2. Lutein has strong antioxidant capacity, which can inhibit the activity of oxygen free radicals and prevent the damage of oxygen free radicals to normal cells.
