1. Effects on immune function: the acidic heteropolysaccharides in Tremella can induce human monocytes to produce IL-1, IL-6 and TNF. Tremella polysaccharide can increase the free calcium ion concentration in spleen cells within a certain dose range, and has a synergistic effect with ConA.

2. Anti-tumor and anti-mutation effects: tremella polysaccharide can reduce the activity of lactate dehydrogenase and succinate dehydrogenase in human liver cancer cells, but increase the activity of succinate dehydrogenase in human embryonic lung fibroblasts. Tremella polysaccharide can resist the increase of micronucleus rate and chromosome damage caused by cyclophosphamide.

3. Anti-radiation, affecting the function of the hematopoietic system: Tremella spore fermentation liquid can increase the number of white blood cells and prevent the reduction of white blood cells caused by cyclophosphamide.
